George Kirlew

George was born on December 31st, 1779 in Hemingborough, England.¹ George's father was William Kirlew and his mother was Hannah Richardson. His paternal grandparents were William Kirlew and Mary Smith; his maternal grandparents are <Unknown> and <Unknown>. He had five brothers and five sisters, named William, William, Joseph, John, James, Anne, Mary, Frances, Hannah and Elizabeth. He was the tenth oldest of the eleven children. He had a half-brother named Edward. He died at the age of 74 on September 18th, 1854.¹

General Notes
- At age 26-27 George Kirlew went to Jamaica, he settled in the Westmorland area. 1808?
  Around 1838 George returned to York England. George lived on Monut Micklegate.
